I have a set of Korean children’s Bible verse audios. It’s a set of 10 short verses. Each verse is set to a simple song. This helps with memorization. This set was in a folder structure, just like the nursery rhymes I talked about in Part 1. It had the actual audio files and a list of titles. A three-year-old child cannot read these titles. The idea of one picture per item already worked once. So, this became the next clear candidate. Honestly, this was the part I cared about most.
Why Pictures Help Here Too
The reason is the same as in Part 1. Children this age understand the world through pictures. They do this before they understand letters and symbols. So, a still image is much more helpful than a title a child cannot read. They can look at the image, learn from it, and choose it. What is different here is what they are memorizing. Nursery rhymes help them remember melodies and moods. Bible verses are about ideas like “God loved the world” or “Do not worry, but pray.” When a picture showing that idea is always paired with the same short audio, it gives a clear anchor to something that might be abstract.
Directing the Pictures
I reused the same kind of tools I used in Part 1. This was a matching admin page called biblesong-studio. It talks directly to Google’s Gemini image model through its API. I created them, checked them, and fixed them in plain language if they were not right. I kept both the original and the fixed versions.
For each verse, I wrote a short Korean note. This note described what I wanted the scene to show. The note was then put straight into the English image prompt along with the verse text. Gemini handled the mixed English/Korean input without any problems.
💬 A Successful Prompt My instruction (translated) for Psalm 1:1-2: “Show a blessed child walking past bad company, sitting happily under a strong tree, reading the Bible. The verse says he thinks about it day and night, so put both the sun and the moon in the sky.”
That one detail, the sun and moon together, is something a general prompt like “Illustrate this verse” would never create on its own. Reading the verse first, noting what stood out to me, and then giving that to the model made a big difference every time.

Below, each verse is shown with its English and Korean reference. Then comes the picture, followed by the verse itself.

For this verse, I asked for the cross to be small and far in the background, or left out entirely. For a three-year-old, the main point is “He loved us enough to give.” It is not the weight of the crucifixion.

What I Can and Cannot Say Yet
Just like in Part 1, there are some honest shortcomings. This runs on a paid Gemini API. So, this set has a real, small cost per image. I have not tracked the total amount closely enough to report it. This is something I want to fix in the future.
What I can tell you is that one picture from the nursery rhyme folder already showed exactly how far this type of design can go when done carefully. That is, it was one song that went through five rounds of changes so that every detail had meaning. That is Part 3.
